cashmere singles cobweb weight
The 1/20NM yarns are spun by Todd & Duncan of Scotland. They are a great range of solid colors in soft spun yarns, but as fine singles they can be a bit twisty. So we are offering free twisting to make up thicker yarns of your choice - 3 plies to make roughly our 4ply weight or 6 plies to make about our dk, or any other plies you choose. Just tell us when you buy..
the same applies to the 1/35NM singles, which are from Johnstons of Elgin... great colors, nice and soft but thin...
This yarn was Italian spun for Johnstons of Elgin, soft and with lovely colors... it is a single though, so bear that in mind for knitting... we will twist up multiple plies of thei yarn to a thicker yarn for free...
Net Weight: 150 Grams
Although we have listed this in weaving yarns as that was its original purpose it is actually quite soft spun (it is woollen spun, which means it softens fairly well on washing). It was spun for use in Hugo Boss woven fabric suiting and similar. We will twist up multiple plies of this yarn to give a roughly balanced thicker yarn, for free..
of course just because this yarn was made for weaving doesn't mean it isn't still great for knitting, especially when twisted up thicker...
