Cashmere/cotton and cashmere/linen cobweb weights

The 50/50 yarns are spun by Audresset of France. Made from the best cashmere and long staple cotton fibres they are still soft but give better stitch definition and feel crisper than the pure cashmere - ideal for lighter weight garments or baby items... The 85/15s are Italian spun, and have some vibrant colors..

Cashmere/cotton and cashmere/linen cobweb weights

As 2/65NM yarns the French yarns give 5,350 yards per cone, 16,000 yards per lb. The yardages for the other yarns are on the individual listings.. Please add your experiences with these yarns (especially with pictures!) below. You can find articles about knitting and washing these yarns in our Knowledge Base section..

Note that although these are balanced yarns because these are so fine we will happily wind multiple plies together on cone, for free (even say 1 cone of 6 plies), just tell us how many when you pay.

SOTS III swatch #2

This is the same swatch made with Champagne yarn, but I dyed it with Kool Aid, after a good wash in hot water to remove the oil. The color turned out very uniform.
