The 55%/45% yarns are Italian spun for Todd & Duncan of Scotland, and were sold by them under the brand name Sensation and used in some of the world?s most luxurious knitwear. Made from the best cashmere and silk fibres they are still soft but give better stitch definition and feel sleeker but also a bit crisper than the pure cashmere - and of course the silk gives extra brightness to the colours...

As 2/36NM yarns these are a little finer than our pure silk laceweights but will bloom a bit more. They give 3,000 yards per cone, 9,000 yards per lb, and should give around 40 stitches on a 4 inch swatch. Please add your experiences with these yarns (especially with pictures!) below.
