4ply and fingering weight silk blends

The 4ply cotton silk yarns are produced in superb earthy tones by filati biagioli modesto of Italy, under the brand name exotic cotton. They have an amazing set of tonal variations and the sheen of the silk with the crispness of the cotton. We believe the mix is 30% silk, 70% cotton, but we can not be certain. the otehr yarns are described on their individual listings..

4ply and fingering weight silk blends

The cotton silk yarns are all colourmart 4ply weight, balanced yarns, giving about 1,100 yards per cone or 3,300 yards/lb, and should give around 30-34 stitches on a 4 inch swatch, using US 4-6, 2.75-3.75 mm needles. See our articles on knitting and washing these yarns in our knowledge base sections
