This is a Todd and Duncan soft spun yarn, branded Eminence, soft and vivid. 2/36NM means it is almost a cobweb, doubled it will make our heavy lace weight thickness. This yarn came straight from TD, still in mill wrappers, and the price is higher than earlier listings because we had to pay more for it, sorry..

from Johnstons of Elgin, almost identical count to the 2/36NM but as a 3 ply should be slightly stronger and more interesting structure..
