Cachemire, fils moyens (dk & heavy dk)
Ces fils sont produits par Todd & Duncan spécialement pour nous à partir de leurs surplus de fils simples (1/14 NM). Comme ils tordent d'abord deux brins en un fil, puis deux de ces fils ensemble, l'aspect et le toucher du produit final est presque celui d'un fil câblé.
Si le prix plus élevé des couleurs noire et rose vous surprennent : il n'y a pratiquement jamais de surplus de noir, surtout en fil de cette grosseur, et c'est la même chose pour le rose... Pour répondre à la demande, nous avons fait une commande spéciale à Todd & Duncan pour ces deux couleurs, à un prix beaucoup plus élevé que d'habitude...

slubby.. soft... this Todd and Duncan yarn is exactly the same construction as the 2/7.5NM undyed white and black (basically this yarn has one strand of the two stranded black yarn plus one strand of the undyed white) and was intended to be knitted with the other two, to make some striking garment combinations, though of course it will work fine on its own..

a wheaty colored natural, 2 plies that will soften with washing and a bit of wear.. but not really soft as it was used for weaving, so we decided to make the price a bit lower..

This yarn is twisted up for us from the Cariaggi spun 2/46NM weight we sell in our cobweb weight section, first into 3 strands and then three strands of the result twisted the opposite way, giving a great structure and softness after washing. There aren't many dk weight cashmeres with 18 plies...

we got this yarn direct from Todd and Duncan, who have put together 6 strands (2 x 3) of their normal pirate (dark navy blue) 2/28NM lace weight yarn.
