2/28NM、4/46NM、2/36NM　極細

このページは主に世界でも有数の紡績会社スコットランドのトッド＆ダンカン製の毛糸です。最高級のモンゴルカシミアの原毛から作られ、すばらしく柔らか且つ、トッド＆ダンカンのトレードマークである鮮やかな色が特徴です。

中にはヨークシャーのヒンチクリフ社や、イタリアのロロ・ピアナ社ともう一社の毛糸も混じっています。その場合はその旨記載されています。

2/36NMはトッド＆ダンカン製、たまにロロ・ピアナ製で、超極細と極細の中間ぐらいの太さです。トッド＆ダンカン社製の2/36NMは「エミネンス」ブランドと印されています。

4/46NMはイタリア製で柔らかくビビッドな色のカシミア超極細二本を撚り合わせています。

This is a Todd and Duncan soft spun yarn, branded Eminence, soft and vivid. 2/36NM means it is almost a cobweb, doubled it will make our heavy lace weight thickness. This yarn came straight from TD, still in mill wrappers, and the price is higher than earlier listings because we had to pay more for it, sorry..

毛糸の長さの計算の仕方は以下の通りです。

〇/△NM　の場合　△×毛糸の重量÷〇＝長さ

番手が2/40NMとありましたら、40×重量（当店の1コーンは通常150グラム）÷2＝3000メートルとなります。

2/28NMのゲージは10cmにつき2.5～3.75mmの棒針で32～36目。
