Très doux, ces fils sont cependant un peu plus secs que nos fils les plus gonflants ; leurs couleurs sont impressionnantes de vivacité et de variété. Ils sont filés et retordus par Johnstons of Elgin et bien équilibrés ; la définition des points est excellente, tant à la machine qu'à la main.
